I bake with simple, honest ingredients. I treat your data the same way — less is more.

This page explains what cookies are, which ones I use on lessismorekitchen.ca, why I use them, and how you can change your choices at any time.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files saved on your device when you visit a website. Some are essential to make the site work. Others help me understand how the site is used or to show content from other services.

The cookies I use

Essential (always on)
Needed for security and basic features like page navigation. These don’t store information that identifies you.

Functional / Embedded content / Analytics (optional)
If I embed maps, videos, or social posts, those services may set their own cookies. I’ll only load them if you allow functional cookies.
If you enable analytics, I use Matomo (first-party, privacy-friendly) to measure basic site use. It may set _pk_id*, _pk_ses*, and _pk_ref*; IPs are anonymized and data is not shared for ads.

No advertising or performance cookies.

Your choices

  • Accept all cookies (essential + optional)
  • Reject non‑essential (only essential cookies will run)
  • Customize and pick exactly what you allow

You can change or withdraw your consent anytime via the Cookie Settings link in the footer (or the “revisit consent” button).

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. This may affect how the site works.
